One of my favorite places to go to during the Christmas Season is the Creation Museum in Kentucky. My entire family loves going to see their outdoor presentation of Christmas lights, Manger, Magi, Camel Rides, etc.
The environment is peaceful and enjoyable. Every year they do something different in their presentations.
This year they had different Bible characters walking around, like the Shepherds telling the story form their experience. They also had Simeon and Anna sharing how they knew the Christ child had entered the Temple.
The cast stays in character the entire time. They answer any questions from that time period and do not answer from a 21st century perspective.
Ever wondered why there is so much hopelessness in this world around you? How about this: have you ever felt a sense of hopelessness? Most of us have.
Hope is a word that deals with expectation and it’s root word speaks of waiting and trusting. In other words, hope is a concept and a reality that deals with the condition of a person who is waiting patiently, expecting result from the person they trust.
When we say: “I hope so” we often don’t have much expectation and the meaning of such expression is rather minute in nature and un-expectant. The reality is that we really want to expect while trusting.
