4 Simple Steps To Lead Your Family with Vision - Successfully |
Happy New Year! The holidays are over for most parts of the world. Today many go back to work, dodge the maze of traffic while thinking about those New Year’s resolutions – you know that new diet plan, the savings plans and the new way of thinking. For most, New Year’s Day/Week is a new beginning – a fresh new start. This is good in many ways, especially in becoming enthused about new things or a new way of life. Before we start thinking about a fresh start, let’s think about 2015 for a minute. For all of us, last year was quite eventful. From tragedies, to the rise of inflation, to job or pay cuts to terrible weather patterns. On the other hand, for a few of us, it was a year of rejoicing, fun, and positive results. Yet for most, it was a combination of both. For example, I wound up performing three funerals for three friends (that’s never fun), but I also count the joy of having perform a wedding for a deer couple, who have become dear friends of ours. Celebrations, vacations, gatherings, family and friends – were all part of all sorts of events and experiences we all had last year. So here’s a question for you: What good, positive and delightful experiences do you remember about 2015? What were some of those events that will encourage you or propel you to a new 2016? Or, How can you change the outcome of last year’s negative and sad experiences? This is important because it will be your decisions and determination as a result of your past experiences that will propel you into your accomplishments during the next twelve months. Think about that! How are you going to, not only approach, schedule or determine your “plan of attack,” but also positively execute a positive outcome for the next 365 days? Not only is the approach important but also the positive execution of your desires. Your determination, the encouragement and the implementation of those goals, dreams, visions and aspirations that are burning in your heart, and running through your mind day in and day out; how are you going to carry it all out this year? Here are 3 Things You Must Know [And Do] To Transforms Your New Year. 1. One thing I know for sure, regardless of last year’s conditions, experiences and negative outcomes, the future will be way better. How do I know that? I’m confident of this - God and His Word can and will transform your dying, chaos, or hopelessness into a living perseverance driving you right into His promises. No doubt about it. 2. The second thing I know is that when I help life happen for others, God will make life happen for me. In other words, I know that whatever I sow – I will reap. You know the cliché: “you reap what you sow.” Say it another way – what goes around, comes around. When I give love, kindness, gentleness, and all those positive heart-felt, life-giving characteristics to others, then those same attributes (and more) will come back to me. By the same token, when I give of my talents, skills and abilities to help others, then God will send others to help me with my shortcomings. It’s a law we can’t change. It’s the law of sowing and reaping. It’s a great thing. 3. The third thing I know is that you will become what you think about. Your thoughts and your heart will drive you right into your future. So be sure to have God’s Word, God’s thoughts and God’s faith in your everyday life so that the outcome is accordingly. Often times we plan our lives with a constant negative perspective while trying to execute and experience a positive outcome. This will never happen. Positive input breads positive results. Your words follow your thoughts, and your life follows your words. In other words, your life will be a full indication of what you say or talk about. In the same vein, your words are the pictures painted by the thoughts of your heart. Thoughts are pre-painted pictures. If a thousand words can paint a picture, then the picture reveals the words, which were once thoughts.
Be sure to keep your thoughts in line with your expected plan, so that the outcome lines up with what you thought about. Tweet That. Be ready for a purposeful, powerful and permanent 2016 - the year to advance into your future of what you once thought, believed and planned for last year. Question: What other things do you know that helps advancing positively this next year?
