Part 1 of 2
There are countless of great programs and blogs about how to start your business online, how to start a blog and how to fix “xyz.” From blogging for pleasure to blogging as a business and everything in between is available today. You can become an expert in the blogging, writing, publishing, and business industry in a matter of days or weeks. However, very little is mentioned about a few important values for online success. If you are a business owner, a blogger, a freelance writer, or anything in between desiring to move in the direction of major success, then I have something to share with you today. A subconscious reality There is a subconscious reality and awareness in the life of your readers that perceive if your writing is truly real - meant to help them having a different motive. In fact, it’s evident if your writing is “gimmicky” to provide good material upfront with a hook in the back, manipulating in subtle ways, with a sale in the end. These I call: “sales pitch sites.” Overall, people aren’t stupid. Generally people are smart, intelligent and astute. They can tell the real from the fake. So here’s the question that you must answer: Is your business, or your blog the real deal? I’m not referring to being real in having the real potential of making six figures. I’m talking about the reality of authenticity to provide quality content for the benefit of others? Does it depict authentic consideration toward others? I don’t mean to be so up-on-your-face, sort to speak. But I am rather discouraged by strong sales people both in the regular brick and mortal world as well as the online world, where they portray a sincere content, yet the reality is that they’re just trying to hook me and you to buy their product – caring less if I benefit from their product or not! This, to me, is sincerely wrong. I don’t know about you, but I want to provide quality content in order to enhance your life – not just my pocket. The reality, however, is that I can’t always create quality consistent content for free. At some point in time my services will have to be in exchange for some monetary value. Of course - not everything is free. This is why I place both my free as well as my "not free" products up front. They are all on this blog. I hide nothing. These services will also have to provide value to you – the consumer, the customer, the client, the reader – the person, the friend. I am very much aware that commerce is what makes this world turn and it makes mine and yours move in terms of paying bills, and even eating our lunch. There is no such thing as free lunch – every day. So let me get to the point The nature of the value of my product is hidden in the quality of value it brings to you. In other words, my product, my writing, and my speaking engagements are only as good as it creates, and furnishes value to your life – nothing more, nothing less. My books, blogs and speaking engagements are not valuable because I have a great opinion to offer. Everyone has sincere opinions and ways to look at things. But if my offer does not provide value to your life, then it is just another product in the market place design to make a buck. My goal is to provide you quality materials in order to enhance the value in your life. Whether it is your knowledge, your wisdom, your heart, or whatever it is that will help you in your life, your relationships and your business world – that’s what it’s all about. Your life is designed to be modeled after. Some people may not care about that, but the truth is, you were created and established in this earth to demonstrate something greater than meets the eye – something to be modeled after. In other words, your life is designed for success, for victory, for greatness and for value. You have value. You are quality. Just an opinion I used to struggle with the idea that I was worth something. For a long time I thought I didn’t have much to offer – it was just my opinion. The crazy thing was that to me opinions were like belly buttons – everybody has one and most of them are ugly anyway. So why bother displaying my ugly “belly buttons”? Who cares! The craziest thing is – there is no other “belly button” like you, lol. Can you dig that?! That’s funny; it sounds weird – doesn’t it? I’m just being goofy here – but serious. The truth is – there is nobody designed like you. You have a special something, a specific task, a calling and a design that nobody else has. You are unique and your uniqueness is your brand. ... stay tuned for Part 2 of this post. Ps.
